About Me

Hi, my name is Nikhil Patil. I am a recent graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Cybersecurity. I graduated with both my B.S. and M.S. in Cybersecurity in 4.5 years. In the vast world of Cybersecurity, I have dipped my toes into almost all facets, working with malware analysis, penetration testing, GRC roles, IT support roles. I am currently looking for my first full time role out of the college.

Goverance Risk and Compliance Analyst Intern

Worked with the Cybersecurity team to ensure that the bank was compliant with various regulations. This included working with the team to identify and assess risks, as well as developing and implementing controls to mitigate those risks. Additionally, I also completed a compliance gap review.

IT Analyst Intern

Worked with the IT team to learn about various IT processes and procedures. This included working with the team to identify and assess risks, as well as developing and implementing controls to mitigate those risks. Also went on site visits to various client sites to learn about their IT infrastructure.
